HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WP No.26731 of 2017 ORDER ::

The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition relates to non‐ consideration of the case of the petitioner to be appointed as Anganwadi worker by respondents 1 and 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner is already working as Anganwadi helper since 2012 at Centre No.173‐23 and eligible to be considered for appointment as Anganwadi worker in a vacancy at Centre No.26‐35 which is in the same village, where the petitioner is working as Anganwadi helper. It is also stated that similarly situated persons have filed writ petition being WP No.31374 of 2015 and batch and this Court by order dated 16‐11‐2015 directed the respondents therein to consider the eligible Anganwadi helpers for appointment/promotion as Anganwadi workers.

2.

This submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is not disputed by the learned Asst. Government Pleader for respondents. In the circumstances, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment as Anganwadi worker, and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law and as per the applicable Rules in vogue.

3. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this case shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. _________________________ A. RAJASHEKER REDDY, J Dated: 01‐09‐2017 NRG
