Kommu Moses , K. J. Moses, v. The State Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.34383 OF 2015 O R D E R :
The grievance of the petitioner is that his request for mutation of his name in the revenue records made to the 4th respondent on 23.05.2015 has not been considered.
The petitioner states that the 3rd respondent had taken up proceedings under Section 5-B of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 in file No.G/8241/2013 and the said application was allowed in his favour on 16.05.2015. It is also stated that the said order has attained finality and consequently, the petitioner made a request for mutation of his name in the revenue records before the 4th respondent. Alleging inaction of the 4th respondent, the present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.
As the order in file No.G/8241/2013, dated 16.05.2015 of the 3rd respondent has attained finality, the 4th respondent has to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
In the circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider the request of the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferable within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed.
