The case of the petitioners is that they have submitted application dated 28.11.2016 before the 2nd respondent seeking permission to dig bore well under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002. As no action is taken and no orders are passed on the said application, present writ petition is filed.

Heard both sides.

Since it is stated that the application submitted by the petitioners is pending before the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the same, in accordance with law and take action within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
