THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY W.P.No. 5130 OF 2015 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) Questioning the action of the respondents in initiating disciplinary proceedings contrary to Rule 9 (2) (b) (ii) of the Andhra Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980, the petitioner invoked the jurisdiction of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal at Hyderabad and, on the O.A. being dismissed, has filed the present Writ Petition. It is wholly unnecessary for us to examine the contentions urged on merits as the learned Government Pleader for Services - I (A.P.) has placed before us a copy of G.O.Rt.No. 196 Revenue (Vigilance-IV) Department dated 17-03-2015, whereby the Government ordered that further action against the petitioner be dropped. The cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating adjudication by this Court. The Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand dismissed in consequence. No order as to costs.
