Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had expired on 12.10.2009 and the matter pertains to imposition of penal rent for occupying the company's quarter un-authorizedly.

Since the petitioner had died, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
