O R D E R

The petitioner, in this writ petition, made allegations against police authorities by name and against unofficial respondents. He also alleges that police authorities, for extraneous reasons, are implicating him in false cases and contemplating to invoke provisions of A.P. Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Boot Leggers, Dacoits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Grabbing act, 1986 (for short the 'Preventive Detention Act'). He apprehends that his arms licence may be revoked without following due process of law. He also seeks for a direction to provide personal security.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri K.Lakshman, Assistant Solicitor, Government Pleaders for Home and G.A.D., Telangana for official respondents.

Petitioner made omnibus allegations. The averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition are in the nature of disputed questions of fact. Admittedly, as on today, the arms licence of the petitioner has not been revoked. If the acts of the petitioner necessitate invocation of the provisions of the Preventive Detention Act, this court cannot prohibit the authorities from acting in accordance with law. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the respondents, he is always at liberty to avail appropriate remedies available under law.

However, the present writ petition is premature and the petitioner has not made out any case for interference of this court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, as such, the same is dismissed. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
