I.A.No.2 of 2025 This petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to permit the petitioner to amend the cause title in Crl.P.No.11939 of by incorporating the nickname(s) of the petitioners as shown in the remand report and to rectify the designation of Accused No.6 as Accused No.5 for the purpose of modifying the order dated 23.09.2025 in Crl.P.No.11939 of 2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that while drafting the bail application, due to typographical error it was typed as Accused No.6 instead of Accused No.5. The said error is neither willful nor wanton. As such, the said error was also carried into the order dated 23.09.2025 wherein the Accused No.5 is shown as Accused No.6. It is further submitted that the nickname(s) of the petitioners as recorded in the remand report was not incorporated in the cause title while filing the bail application as such, the discrepancy has arisen. Hence, prayed this Court to amend the cause title in Crl.P.No.11939 of 2025 and consequently to rectify the designation of Accused No.6 as Accused No.5 in the order dated 23.09.2025. Having regard to the submissions made and the facts and circumstances stated in the affidavit, this application is allowed.

The registry is directed to carry out necessary amendments as prayed for and also to replace Accused No.5 instead of Accused No.6 in the order dated 23.09.2025 and issue corrected copy.

Accordingly, the application is allowed.
