HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT Writ Petition No.18922 of 2017 ORDER:

The failure of respondents to protect the land in an extent of Ac.2.00 in Sy.No.98-9 of Boddam Village, Vepada Mandal, Vizianagaram District, being the Government land, is canvassed in this writ petition.

2. By representation dated 22.05.2017, the petitioner represented to 3rd respondent for examining encroachment of the government land by the third parties and taking decision as warranted in the circumstances of the case. The petitioner relies upon a few photographs to show that the construction, in fact is taking place in the subject matter of the writ petition. If at the same speed, the encroachers are allowed to continue, the physical features would be changed. Hence, the writ petition.

3. I have perused the material available on record. This court prima-facie is satisfied that 3rd respondent examines representations forthwith, affords opportunity to 4th respondent as well and passes orders within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is given liberty to resubmit the representation along with the copy of this order for timely decision.

4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition, shall stand dismissed.
