Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3.

Petitioners' grievance is that petitioners had filed appeal before 2nd respondent challenging the order dt.20-06-2015 passed by 3rd respondent; that even though the said appeal was filed in December 2015, 2nd respondent acknowledged the receipt of it on 16-03-2016 but he has still not numbered the appeal or decided the stay application therein.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that in the meantime, there is a threat of dispossession of the petitioners.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3 states that 2nd respondent will dispose of the said appeal filed by the petitioners within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing 2nd respondent to dispose
of the appeal filed by the petitioners challenging the order dt.20-06-2015 of 3rd respondent within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and pending disposal of the said appeal by 2nd respondent, all further proceedings pursuant to the order dt.20-06-2015 of 3rd respondent shall stand stayed. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
