HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.13448 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioner/A1 seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1383 of 2013 on the file of VI Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Cyberabad at Medchal, R.R.District, which was registered against him for the offence under Sections 498A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 17.02.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Dundigal P.S, Cyberabad Commissionerate and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 05.07.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1383 of 2013 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3) There is no representation for petitioner.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
