THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.20420 of 2002 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: " To issue a Writ, Order of direction more fully in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner's case for absorption in terms of B.P.Ms.No.37, dated 18.5.1997 as illegal, improper, arbitrary besides being violative of Art.14 and 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to consider the case of the appointment of the petitioner for the post of Man Mazdoor/ Junior Plant Attendant or any other suitable post in the respondent Corporation." When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondents have considered the case of the petitioner and rejected his case. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that B.P.(P&GPer).Ms.No.37 dated 18.5.1997 was also withdrawn and, therefore, nothing survives in the writ petition.
