In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioner-accused seeks to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 112 of 2011 on the file of the Court of Additional Judicial I Class Magistrate, Mahabubabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 447 and 379 of IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 03-07-2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, Mahabubabad Rural Police Station, Mahabubabad District, and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 02-12-2014 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 112 of 2011, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
