Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to take appropriate legal proceedings.

Permission is accorded and, accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate legal proceedings in accordance with law. The interim order dated 28.12.2016 shall continue for a period of ten (10) days from today. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
