ORDER:
Petitioner states that she worked as Shramik in the respondent corporation and retired in the month of August 2014. Petitioner seeks benefit of the circular of the respondent corporation in PD.No.4/2011 dated 12.01.2011 whereby on completion of 12 years and 20 years of service, the employees were entitled to one increment as special grade and extending one advancement increment respectively. Petitioner states that all other employees, who are similarly situated, including her juniors, are granted the said benefit. However, no such benefit is extended to the petitioner. Hence, petitioner filed a representation dated 02.03.2013 before the Regional Manager and it is stated that no orders are passed on the said representation so far.
2. Mr. B. Mayur Reddy, learned standing counsel for the respondent corporation, states that since the petitioner has already retired in August 2014, there is, admittedly, delay in considering the said representation.
3. Hence, the second respondent is directed to consider the aforesaid representation of the petitioner and extend the benefit sought for, if the same benefit is granted to other employees and dispose of the said representation within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the respondents consider the said request of the petitioner favourably, it is made clear that the said benefit shall be made available to the petitioner up to the date of her retirement and not thereafter. The writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. _____________________ VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR, J
