Since the issue involved in these writ petitions is one and the same, they are being disposed of by this common order. These writ petitions are filed questioning the action of the 2nd respondent in not approving the admission of the petitioners into 1st year B.Tech/B.Pharmacy programme in the 4th respondent College, wherein the petitioners have sought admission under left over seats of Category-B/convener quota seats of Category-A, for the academic year 2012-13.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Smt. P.Sharada Devi, learned standing counsel for the 2nd respondent, and Sri V.Ramachander Goud, learned Standing Counsel for Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), appearing for the 3rd respondent. It is stated by the counsel for the petitioners that since the students have completed their course, they cannot be disturbed. Sri V.Ramachander Goud, learned standing counsel for the 3rd respondent University, on instructions, submits that the students who have been admitted by the 4th respondent College in these writ petitions and the degrees awarded to them will not be disputed or disturbed by the 3rd respondent University. He further submits that so far as the students who have backlogs, they would be permitted to complete the course as per the regulations of the 3rd respondent University. Smt.P.Sharada Devi, learned counsel for the 2nd respondent, does not have objection to the said course of action being adopted by this Court.
Recording the aforesaid submissions of the learned standing counsel, the writ petitions are disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
