Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

The petitioner Nos.1 and 2 are the card holders and the 3rd petitioner is alleged to be an Association working against corruption and in the interest of consumers. The case of the petitioners is that the Fair Price Shop No.24 of Hindupur Town and Mandal, Anantapur District, was bifurcated on 17.03.2015 and the card of the 1st petitioner was attached to the shop at Ward No.18, and along with the Shop No.24, Shop Nos.3, 4, 9, 21 and 23 were also bifurcated. The petitioners specifically state that there is no grievance about the bifurcation. However, their grievance is with regard to temporary arrangements by appointing temporary dealers instead of filling up of the vacancies on permanent basis. The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent Nos.2 to 4 to make permanent appointments to the bifurcated shop Nos.3, 4, 9, 21, 23 and 24 of Hindupur Mandal, Anantapur District.

The grievance of the petitioners could be understood, but the respondent Nos.2 to 4 need some time to make permanent arrangements. The respondent Nos.2 to 4 have made some temporary arrangements by appointing temporary dealers in order to supply essential commodities to the card holders without any inconvenience, but it should not continue indefinitely. In view of the same, respondent Nos.2 to 4 are directed to make permanent arrangements in respect of bifurcated shops, as expeditiously as possible.

This writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. __________________________ A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO, J Date: 23.06.2015 siva
