The innocuous but legitimate grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition pertains to non-disposal of O.P. No.238 of 2014 filed by the petitioner against respondent No.2 on the file of the Election Tribunal to Try the Elections of Municipal Corporation-cum-Principal District Judge, Nizamabad. Considering the fact that the Election Petition is pending for one-and-a-half years, any further delay in disposal of the same may frustrate the very purpose for which

the remedy of election dispute is envisaged. Therefore, the Election Tribunal-cumPrincipal District Judge, Nizamabad, is directed to dispose of O.P. No.238 of 2014 within four months from the date of receipt of this order. Subject to the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. _______________________ C.V.
