HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Criminal Petition No.7855 of 2018 ORDER:

The petitioner is A1 in Crime No.586 of 2018 on the file of the Uppal Police Station, Uppal, Rangareddy District. The crime is registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2 Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State of Telangana and perused the F.I.R. and the anticipatory bail application averments. 3.

Undisputedly, none of the offences are with the punishment of above seven years. If at all any arrest of the petitioner-A1 is required, the police shall strictly follow Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and also the guidelines in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar1. All available defences are left open to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
