Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents. 2.
It is the case of the petitioner that originally he was the absolute owner and possessor of land admeasuring Acs.7.26 gts in Survey No.185/A of Jupeda Village, Tirumalayalapalem Mandal, Khammam District and out of the said extent, an extent of Ac.1.26 gts was acquired by the Government for Sriram Sagar Project and an extent of Acs.4.30 gts was gifted in favour of the petitioner's son vide Gift Deed document bearing No.4938 dated 21.08.2018 and an extent of Ac.0.16 gts was sold under a registered sale deed dated 22.06.2010 to one Nookala Srinivas Reddy. Thus, the petitioner retained an extent of Ac.0.34 gts in Survey No.185/A of the said village and he also claims to have been in continuous possession and enjoyment of the said extent of Ac.0.34 gts.

However, after land records updation program in the State, the respondents, instead of updating the total extent of Ac.0.34 gts in Survey No.185/A in the name of the petitioner, have updated an extent of Ac.0.05 gts only in Survey
MSK,J W.P.NO.37775 OF 2022 No.185/A/1/1/1/1/1 of the said village in the name of the petitioner. Having noticed the said error, the petitioner claims to have approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition and seeks indulgence of this Court to direct the respondents to update the total extent of Ac.0.34 gts instead of Ac.0.05 gts in Survey No.185/A.

On the other hand, learned Assistant Government Pleader submitted that after introduction of Dharani Portal, it is only the online applications that could be considered by the respondents for rectification of any errors on Dharani Portal but not the manual representations.

Taking into consideration the submissions made on either side, this Writ Petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to submit an online application on Dharani Portal under appropriate module requesting for updating the total extent of Ac.0.34 gts in the place of Ac.0.05 gts in Survey No.185/A of Jupeda Village, Tirumalayalapalem Mandal, Khammam District, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on submission of such online application, the third respondent herein shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of submission of such

It is further directed that the third respondent, while considering the online application to be submitted by the petitioner, shall put all the persons interested on notice and then pass orders, as directed above.
