Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in view of the proceedings, dated 14.02.2018, issued by the 2nd respondent, Director of Mines and Geology, Ibrahimpatnam, Vijayawada, Krishna District, the cause in this Writ Petition does not survive and petitioners want to pursue the independent application already preferred for grant of lease hold rights in their favour. 2.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. It is needless to observe that the petitioners are at liberty to pursue the said application in view of closure of the present Writ Petition.
