THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION NO.31527 OF 2012 O R D E R :
This writ petition is filed for a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not proving alternative employment to the petitioner or otherwise retire the petitioner from service on attaining superannuation with all benefits as per Section 47 of the Person with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 (for short 'the Act'), on medical ground in spite of petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2012, as illegal and arbitrary.
This Court on 09.10.2012 in W.P.M.P.No.40215 of 2012 granted interim order directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for alternative employment in terms of Section 47 of the Act within a period of four (04) weeks. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuant to the aforesaid interim order, the petitioner was given alternative employment and that the petitioner also retired from service.
Heard Sri Aravala Rama Rao, learned Standing counsel for respondent-Corporation.
In view of the above submission, no further orders are required in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of interms of interim order dated 09.10.2012 in W.P.M.P.No.40215 of 2012. No order as to costs.
