This writ petition is filed by the petitioner to declare the inaction of the respondents in considering the applications of the members of the petitioner society for sanction of financial assistance under the Financial Assistance Scheme provided by the 1st and 2nd respondents, as illegal and arbitrary. 2.

Heard Sri N.Appa Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare (Telangana State). Since the matter pertains to the year 2006, this Court constrained to proceed with the case and dispose of the same on merits.

Sri N.Appa Rao submits that in view of the bifurcation of the State and in view of the changed circumstances, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be considered.

Recording the above submission, the writ petition is dismissed, giving liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to the Government, if it is so advised. No order as to costs. As sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending if any shall stand closed.
