THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P. KESHAVA RAO WRIT PETITION No.22295 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. 2.

The prayer sought in the writ petition is as under:- "...to issue a writ or order more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 5 in not arresting the accused in FIR.No.174 of 2014 on the file of SHO Medak Town Police Station, Medak, Medak District and not taking any steps in the matter as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and consequential directions to the respondents 2 to 5 to make immediate arrest of the accused in FIR No.174 of 2014 on the file of SHO Medak Town Police Station, Medak, Medak District and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to the registration of Crime No.174 of 2014 on the file of the Station House Officer, Medak Town Police Station, Medak District, investigation was completed and a charge sheet was filed before the concerned Court. After taking cognizance of the offence, the case was initially numbered as P.R.C.No.18 of 2017. Subsequently, the same is numbered as S.C.No.289 of 2017, which is pending trial.

In that view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause would survive in the writ petition and the same is liable to be closed.

Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to file a protest application, if he got any objections against the charge sheet.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
