Heard Sri S.P.Chakravarthy for petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

The petitioner prays for mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in interfering in the civil disputes between the petitioner and the 4th Respondent and compelling the petitioner to compromise the suit in O.S.No.86 of 2010 pending on the file of the Junior Civil Judge, Godavarikhani, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional.

On 30.03.2011, at request of the Respondents, the writ petition has been adjourned for instructions. The learned Assistant Government Pleader by referring to written instructions dt.01.04.2011 submits that the 3rd Respondent is aware that the police do not interfere in civil disputes, and accordingly, in the case on hand as well in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the 4th Respondent, the 3rd Respondent never interfered. He further states that on mere apprehension, the writ petition has been filed.

The statement of the Respondents is placed on record. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

As a sequel,

the miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
