Heard.

The petitioner questions the confiscation proceedings issued against his vehicle bearing No.AP-20-TB-6287. The order of confiscation is dated 15-11-2014. However, the present writ petition is filed only on 24-04-2015. On 28-04-2015, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader has placed before the Court auction notification, which was already issued on 17-03-2015, wherein the petitioner's vehicle was shown at Sl.No.13 and the upset price of the vehicle was fixed at Rs.40,000/-. Hence, the writ petition was adjourned to today to enable the learned counsel for the petitioner to verify.

Today, nobody appears for the petitioner. However, the learned Government Pleader has placed before this Court a copy of the challan under which the auction purchaser has paid the value of the vehicle at Rs.50,500/- by way of Challan No.0000018029, dated 17-03-2015.

In view of that, therefore, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition.
