THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRL.P.M.P.Nos.8714 & 8715 OF 2015 & CRIMINAL PETITION No.5612 OF 2013 ORDER:

The above Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners-accused Nos.1 to 8 under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings against them in FIR No.370 of 2013 on the file of the Kukatpally Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 405, 447, 420, 495, 506 and 34 IPC. When this matter is taken up, the petitioners and the 2nd respondent-complainant appeared before this Court and submitted through their respective Counsel that they have entered into a compromise and therefore, the proceedings in the above crime may be quashed. They filed the photostat copies of their identity cards. They also filed the above Crl.M.Ps., seeking to compound the offences and to record the compromise and to quash the proceedings. The 2nd respondent-complainant has also filed an affidavit before this Court and both the parties filed a joint memo.

Having regard to the fact that now the dispute between the 2nd respondent and the petitioners has been settled amicably, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served in continuing the prosecution launched against the petitioners for the above mentioned offences.

Considering the above circumstances, this Court feels that it is a fit case to quash the proceedings against the petitioners herein. Hence, the compromise is recorded and the above Crl.M.Ps. are ordered.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed quashing the proceedings against the petitioners in the above FIR No.370 of 2013 on the file of Kukatpally Police Station, Cyberabad. Consequently,

miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ______________ RAJA ELANGO, J August 28, 2015 KTL
