This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "...to call for the records from the 2nd respondent and issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction, particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring that the order of retrenchment issued by 2nd respondent dated 4.8.2007 without obtaining any permission from 1st respondent as illegal, unjust, contrary to mandatory provisions of Section 25F, 25N, 25G and 33 of Industrial Disputes Act, and violation of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and grant all consequential benefits including to continue the petitioner in service as N.M.R. Work Inspector."
At the hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. Considering the fact that the writ petition is of the year 2007 and posted under the caption "Specially Identified Cases", the same is dismissed for non-prosecution.
