ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue any writ, order or direction more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents seizure of the rice 1277 Qtls, 10 Qtls of broken Rice, 123 Qtls of Paddy, Super fine rice 8.50 Qtls and Grade A rice 22 Qtls by
conducting panchanama dated 31.12.2011 and 28.01.2012 and initiating the proceedings under section 6-A of E.C. Act in Case No.CSA/6/2011 as null and void and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
At the hearing, Mr. V.H.V.R.R.Swamy, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication.
In view of the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel to the dismissal of the writ petition, interim order dated 19.03.2012 in WPMP.No.9574 of 2012 is vacated and WPMP.No.9574 of 2012 and WVMP.No.1625 of 2012 are disposed of as infructuous.
