Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2.

Petitioner's grievance is that petitioner's appeal filed on 22-02-2015 under Section 5-B of the AP Rights in Land and Pattedar Pass Books Act, 1971 before 2nd respondent is not being decided by 2nd respondent even though more than two years have been elapsed since then.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2 states that 2nd respondent will decide the said appeal within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing 2nd respondent to decide the said appeal within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision thereon to the petitioner. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
