THE HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No. 6468 OF 2017 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor for the State. Perused the record. Learned counsel for the petitioner/accused would submit that the petitioner is a finance company, it is said to have purchased Honda CIVIC vehicle bearing registration No.AP-27-J-0888 and it is alleged that respondent No.2 has misappropriated the official funds and purchased the said vehicle; and though the crime was registered in the year 2010, no final report/charge sheet has been filed so far.

On the other hand, learned Public Prosecutor would contend that some time may be granted to complete the investigation and to file final report/charge sheet.

Under these circumstances, the Station House Officer, Ongole Taluk Police Station, Prakasham District, is directed to complete the investigation and file final report/charge sheet, as the case may be, in Crime No.195 of 2010 within two (2) months from the date of this order. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
