THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.36792 OF 2016 ORDER:
The writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents, more particularly, the third respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner, dated 27.08.2016 and cause investigation.
Heard and perused the material.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner lodged the complaint, dated 27.08.2016, the third respondent is not registering the complaint and as such, he prays this Court to direct the third respondent to register the complaint and take action against the accused.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner, if it discloses any cognizable offence and conduct effective investigation and file final report, if any, in accordance with law.
