THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.1200 of 2016 ORDER:

This Contempt Case arises out of an order in W.P.No.29182 of 2014, dated 25.09.2014, whereunder this Court directed payment of death benefits within a period of two months.

Now, an affidavit is filed by the second respondent on 20.01.2017 stating that, pursuant to the proceedings of the Accountant General (A&E), Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Hyderabad, dated 13.12.2016, the regular pension with arrears will be released within a short time.

In view of the above, the further proceedings in the present Contempt Case are dropped. It is open to the petitioner to take further proceedings in accordance with law. The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed.
