This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') by the petitioner-Accused to quash the proceedings against him in FIR vide Crime No.139 of 2021, dated 23.11.2021 pending on the file of Station House Officer, Basheerabad Police Station, Vikarabad District, registered for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 506 of Indian Penal Code (for short "IPC").

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner - Accused and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the material on record.

This Court by order dated 24.12.2021 directed the Investigation Officer in Crime No.139 of 2021 of Basheerabad Police Station that the petitioner shall not be arrested. However, the investigation shall go on. The Court further ordered that the Public Prosecutor should get specific investigations with regard to said agreement dated 25.01.2021 and payment of Rs.40,00,000/- to the 2nd respondent. Learned counsel for the 2nd respondent would submit that the documents were forged.

In the said circumstances, this Court deems it appropriate to continue the protection given to the petitioner. However, the said allegations of the documents being forged shall be investigated by the police. The Investigating Officer in Crime No.139 of 2021, dated 23.11.2021 pending on the file of Station House Officer, Basheerabad Police Station, Vikarabad District is directed to conclude the investigation without arresting the petitioner - Accused. Further, the petitioner - Accused shall co-operate with the Investigating Officer as and when required for the purpose of investigation.
