HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.31487 OF 2012 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "..........to issue any appropriate writ order or direction particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not engaging the petitioners No.2 and 3, who worked for the last four years, in the construction works of KTPS VI Stages in O&M works of KTPS-VI Stage on par with the Dr.NTTPS-Ibhraimpatnam Contract Labour and proposing to engage freshers who have not at all worked in the construction of KTPS-VI Stage under political pressures, as arbitrary and illegal".
This Court passed interim order on 09-10-2012 directing the respondents to consider the cases of the petitioners 2 and 3 for engagement as contract labour on preferential basis in the O&M works in KTPS-VI stage. Thereafter, the respondents issued proceedings accordingly in Lr.No.CE/O&M/KTPS-V&VI/SE/A&P/DGM/HR/JAO2/D.No.217/13, dated 20-02-2013 directing the petitioners to provide details of engagement as contract labour in KTPS-V & VI Stages, wages paid by the contractors and details of agreement entered into and directed the petitioners to file individual representations. It is stated that the same is not filed.
In view of the same, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to comply with the letter dated 20-02-2013. If the petitioners provide such information, the respondents shall consider the same and pass orders.
