This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
"to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in incorporating various unreasonable and illegal conditions in the tender notification No.T-04/2011-12 while inviting tenders for the work of manning and maintenance of 33/11 K.V. substations in the respondent Company and in prescribing incorrect minimum wages payable to the
workers in the said notification as illegal, arbitrary, capricious and also violative of Art.14 and 19 of the Constitution of India consequently to set aside the tender notification."
At the hearing, Mr.Ch.Krupavanth, learned Counsel representing Mr.K.Chidambaram, learned Counsel for the petitioners, submitted that the cause in this Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication and that the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
The above submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioners is placed on record and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, interim order, dated 20-04-2012, is vacated and WPMP.No.14496 of 2012, filed by the petitioners for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
