HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No.10590 of 2013 ORDER:
Heard Sri A.S.Vasudevan for petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleaders for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The petitioner prays for Mandamus declaring the action of respondents 2 to 4 in summoning the petitioner to CID office and insisting to repay amounts collected from people without there being any authority etc., as illegal and unconstitutional. The Assistant Government Pleaders representing respondents, on instructions, submit that a few complaints are received against HIM Trust, these registered complaints are transferred to special investigation team and in that connection, in one of the cases, the petitioner was arrested and enlarged on bail. The petitioner is one of the accused in the crimes registered against Money Circulation Racket.
Therefore, it is stated that for this cause and in accordance with law, the petitioner is summoned to police station. Learned counsel for petitioner does not have latest instructions. Having regard to the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleaders, I am satisfied that no ground is made out for exercising the discretion of this Court or grant general prayer to petitioner.
