Heard Mr. Virupaksha Dattatreya Gouda for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies. 2.
Petitioner challenges the notice cum suspension order dated 19.11.2016 as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for petitioner canvassed a few factual/ legal grounds against the order impugned in the writ petition and alternatively prayed for direction to conclude the enquiry pending before second respondent.

Prima facie, I am of the view that the second respondent being the competent authority, he can be directed to consider the explanation submitted by petitioner and conclude the enquiry within eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
Learned Government Pleader submits that the enquiry will be completed within the time stipulated by this Court and orders passed. The statement is placed on record. The writ petition is disposed of by this order:
a) Petitioner is given one week time from today to file additional explanation, if any and also communicate copy of this order to second respondent.
b) The second respondent is directed to enquire into the allegations and conclude the enquiry pending in
Rc.C.3905/ 2016 dated 19.11.2016 within eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ____________ S. V. BHATT, J December 2, 2016/ DSK
