This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner, who is accused No.7 in the Court below, seeking for quash of proceedings in C.C.No.438 of 2011 on the file of the III Metropolitan Magistrate, Visakhapatnam. 2.

None appears for the petitioner but the learned counsel for the 1st respondent/complainant draws the attention of this Court to a compromise memo, dated 14.10.2017, filed by both the parties; from which, it is evident that the parties have entered into a compromise. Therefore, the Crl.P.M.P. Nos.12948 and 12949 of 2017, seeking to compound the case in C.C. No.438 of 2011 and allow the Criminal Petition, are ordered. 3.

Hence, in terms of the said compromise, this Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings against the petitioner in C.C. No.438 of 2011 are quashed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
