The petitioner/ A3 filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.71 of 2018 on the file of V.Madugula Police Station, Visakhapatnam District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 20(b)(ii)(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor and perused the bail application averments, F.I.R. and the material on record. 3.

From perusal of the record and from the expression of the Apex Court in Satpal Singh v. State of Punjab in Crl.A. No.462 of 2018 S.L.P. (Crl) No.8184 of 2017 dated 27.03.2018, this Criminal Petition is dismissed, without prejudice to the petitioner to move for regular bail after his surrender, to decide on own merits.
