This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 8th respondent in repeatedly insisting the petitioners to appear before their authority and vacate from house property in Plot of 2 cents and 125 links covered by Sy.No.299 and another house property in a plot of 2 ankanams covered by Sy.No.350 of Mogilicherla Village, Lingapalem Mandal, Prakasam District.

2. Learned Government Pleader for Home (AP) on written instructions submits as follows:

" It is submitted that the contentions of the petitioners that the 8th respondent-Station House Officer, Lingasamudram police station, Guntur District insisted the petitioners to appear before their authority land vacate from house property in plot of 2 cents and 125 links covered by Sy.No.299 and another house property in plot of 2 ankanams covered by Sy.No.350 of Mogilicherla village, Lingapalem Mandal, Prakasama District and to settle the civil dispute is not correct and baseless. It is submitted that except registering the above crime against the petitioners and another in Cr.No.8/ 2017 dated 11.02.2017 for the offences U/ s 323, 506, 509 r/ w 34 IPC, the 8th respondent0Station House Officer, Lingasamudram police station, Guntur district did not take any coercive steps against the petitioners herein as alleged by them."

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the present petition, except stating that it is open to the police to conduct investigation in respect of Cr.No.8/ 17, in accordance with law. Hence, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence. _________________________ A.
