HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.26619 of 2018 ORDER:

It is the case of the petitioner that without registering any crime, the respondent No.3 is calling the petitioner to the police station and thereby interfering with his life and liberty. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on instructions submits that the respondent-police verify the identity of the petitioner and there is no dispute about identity of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent-police have to strictly follow the guidelines laid down by the Apex Court in the judgment of Arnesh Kumar v State of Bihar1.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-police to strictly follow the guidelines laid down by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar's case cited supra. No order as to costs.
