In compliance of the order dated 16.02.2024, Mr. Vodela Venkat, Station House Officer, II Town Police Station, Karimnagar has submitted an explanation.

It is stated on oath before us that even though the complaint was dated 05.10.2023, the same was handed over to him only on 13.02.2024 and on 13.02.2024 he was out of station in connection with investigation in Crime No.125 of 2024. Thereafter, he has registered the FIR on the next day i.e.,

14.02.2024.

The explanation offered by the Officer on affidavit is accepted. However, he is warned to be more careful in future in the matter of registration of complaints.

No further order is required to be passed in the writ petition as the same has already been disposed of.
