This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.) by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the proceedings against him in C.C.No.172 of 2021 pending on the file of XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Athvelli, Medchal for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 354, 354-4, 509 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code 2.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent - State. Perused the record.

The case is of the year 2021 and there is no progress in the matter. Without going into the facts of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the concerned Court to conclude the process of trial as expeditiously as possible within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
