THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION NO.723 of 2015 ORDER:
Upon hearing both sides, at the admission stage, the following Order is passed:
Having regard to the fact that on completion of investigation, the Police laid chargesheet against all the accused for the offences under Sections 498-A and Section 3 and 4 of D.P.Act, which shows prima facie case against them, it is not apposite to quash the proceedings. However, considering the request of the learned counsel for petitioners, they are given an opportunity to present discharge applications before the trial Court with the direction that the trial Court shall dispose of the discharge petitions on merits at the earliest.
With the above observation, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
