The petitioner/ A2 filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.15 of 2018 on the file of Proddatur II Town Police Station, Kadapa District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/ w 20(b)(ii)(c), 28 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Sections 3 and 4 of the A.P.Gaming Act. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor representing the State and perused the bail application averments, F.I.R. and the material on record.

From perusal of the record and from the expression of the Apex Court in Satpal Singh v. State of Punjab in Crl.A. No.462 of 2018 S.L.P. (Crl) No.8184 of 2017 dated 27.03.2018, this Criminal Petition is dismissed, without prejudice to the petitioner to move for regular bail after his surrender, to decide on own merits.
