This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.2 in not disposing of the representation made by the petitioner on 10.11.2006 as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct the respondents to communicate the information as per the said representation.

2. Heard both sides.

3. With the consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

4. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Andhra Pradesh) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, states that a time limit may be fixed to dispose of the representation dated 10.11.2006 made by the petitioner in accordance with law.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to dispose of the representation bearing SR.No.45/40/11(a)15(1)/69 ATP dated 10.11.2006 of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
