Learned counsel for the petitioners says that since the applications of the petitioners were considered and rejected, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous granting liberty to the petitioners to challenge the rejection orders in accordance with law. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
