THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.26590 OF 2018

O R D E R

The grievance of the petitioners is that the revenue authorities are not issuing pattadar pass books and title deeds to them in relation to their lands in Survey Nos.99, 100, 126, 127 and 128 of Pendyal Village, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

Perusal of the records reflects that the names of the petitioners have been entered in the Form 1-B as well as the pahanies in relation to the subject lands. However, they seem to have applied to the Tahsildar, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, by way of written representations without submitting applications in Form 6(A) as prescribed under the Telangana Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. Without adhering to the due procedure, it is not open to the petitioners to complain of inaction on the part of the revenue authorities. In that view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioners to make applications in the prescribed format along with the requisite fee.

Upon receipt of such applications, the Tahsildar, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, shall take appropriate action thereon expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of such applications. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
