THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER Writ Petition No. 20630 of 2008 Order: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The questions which arise for consideration in present writ petition are identical to those raised in a batch of writ appeals disposed of by a Division Bench of this Court on 30.3.2016 (W.A. Nos. 434 of 2008 and batch) wherein, while taking note of the fact that the State Government had passed orders through G.O. Ms. No. 246 dated 21.10.2008 amending the Pension Rules to calculate pension upto the age of 60 years instead of 58 years, the Division Bench had dismissed the appeals on the ground that the cause did not survive for adjudication. Following the said order, and in terms thereof, this writ petition is also disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
