Order:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
"to issue a writ of Mandamus or any other suitable writ or order declaring the action of respondent No.3 in issuing Rc.No.120/M4/08, dt. 12.08.2008, at the
instance of respondents No.1 and 2 illegally demanding tuition fee with a threat of withholding hall ticket in case of failure of payment of alleged dues towards tuition fee as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to principles of natural justice affecting right to life and education and consequently, to pass suitable order directing the respondents not to withhold hall ticket of the writ petitioner or cause obstruction for appearing and writing exams of MBBS final year in any manner."
At the hearing, Mr.A.Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2- University, submitted that as the academic course of the petitioner has been completed, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.
The Counsel for the petitioner is not present to oppose this submission.
In the light of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2University, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, interim order, dated 27-08-2008, is vacated and WPMP.No.24295 of 2008, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous. ______________________
